Having been involved in JC drama productions, hall productions, choir performances and multiple activities that involves live performances and a sizeable group, I have realised that there are no one person responsible or at fault for an activity's failure.
Everyone has a role to play in contributing to the success of an event. Everyone should help each other, in the realisation that each of us affects the quality of the outcome, be it we play small or big roles in that event.
I do not dismiss any mistakes that you make. Some mistakes are inevitable in the process of learning something so challenging and difficult. However, to pinpoint you as the possible source of failure for any aspect of an event (be it hall production or anything else you are/will be involved in) is UNFAIR. If you could possibly be the source of problem for that event, why didn't that person came in early to prevent it? Especially when that person has the given authority and position to do so. Just if I haven't chose to come back to help you out, if hall production turned out to be a failure, I would be at fault because I refused to come back at the point you needed help the most.
Having said so much, I do understand that at a person shouldering the most responsibility will kenna S*** and fire from members. This is part of the job hazard, but it is a test of character strength as well. Accept that you have responsibilities, but do understand that you are human and young as well. We are all young. Inexperienced too.
Do not get too affected by what others have said. Given the challenge posed by the script, the logistics, the magnitude of the problem as well as human resource shortage, I must say you have done a fabulous job as a producer. This is a fact that should not be dismissed and ignored. Of course, you might have did something silly and stupid in the process of producing, but outcome matters very much. In the end, was the show successful? Yes. Whoever came, most of them said it was fantastic. That's results as well.
Cheer up! You have a long way to go in life. Learn from your mistakes, resolve not to make them again, and move on.
Wa lau... if one person 永远生气, he will die. Anw u imply him 小气, not good ah u... haha! Kidding.
Dun worry la, sometimes one overlooked someone's feeling... esp leaders, who have to take care of so many people's feelings. It is understandable one. You have been a good producer, really. =)
