Busy SaturdAy

Phew... what a saturday~~

In the morning was out joining some singing competition at FM88.3. OMG!! that was like an experience man!! It's like so so so cool!! Yet~~ so scary!! I actually went into the studio to sing! Can you believe it? I cant! Hahaha....It was so damn cool an experience and really love it! However, due to lack of experience and stuff.. Not very good at singing also la.. So.. Go KICKED out. ahhaa... Before all the excitement, "kan jiong- ness" can get out of me, it started ALL OVER again!

Around 2 I got onto but 161 heading down to woodlands to change to bus 913. I was so so tired that i just drop dead in the bus. Slept ALL the way till i reach woodlands.

Stupid me not remembering the right booth number to take the bus, i actually took the wrong side. The bus actually go out of the bus interchange, go all the way to dont know where.. some loop around woodlands area then BACK to interchange again then head towards marsiling. OMG! i never know bus route can go in this manner. No wonder there is always someone on the bus before anyone board it.

I was late. Very first time working as an emcee with an event group I M LATE!! I cant believe myself for that!!!It is at Marsiling Blk 137. A block party by the RC people.

It was really a fun experience. Sad that I was so nervous and unfamiliar with everyone that i didnt take any photo! Next time must remember to take. I must really admit, MALAYS ARE REALLY VERY HANDSOME!! the boy that is my co-ordinator is actually around age 17? But quite steady though every now n then will show the kidish side of him. =)

About 4.30pm I've got to start talking!! WOOHOO~~ SO SCARY!!! I'm so afraid that I said something wrong~~ The boss Yusoff came down ( I thought he won't be around as i was told so, in the end he was actually there and he saw how i performed!! ) After a while he left.

5.30 actual thing started. First was the speech by the MP of Sembawang GRC, Mr Hawazi Daipi. I felt quite bad for not being able to translate everything he said properly to Chinese. Haiz.. IR is 综合娱乐城 but i forgot!! Sian...

5.45pm was the actual performance. Think is the same race supporting each other. So most performance are by the Malays. When i reached the block, there were a few kids (malays) that seems very playful and kidish. God knows when it comes to performance, they we super professional. And they are the Dynamic-Duo. Cool!! Though I'm not so into rapping. They have the passion for what they do. They are good! Beat-boxing by NYNO was cool too!!! I cant believe my ears. They can make music with just they voice box! OMG!! and they are just 16?

Then there were this 2 gers singing malay songs. I really think that they are super gifted. Malays are really gifted in singing. Alot of them can sing real well man!

Then.. comes the shocking part. There were too much empty slots in between and i Was pushed up on stage to give quizes, to talk, to do stupid stuff. ops.. haha.. really I really should have prepared some stage games for them. Asri was quite fast for thinking to get the kids to come up on stage to do the chicken dance! THEY LOVE IT! haha.. after that follow by a tiny competition for that and some really can shake man! haha.. so cute!!!

There was balloon sculpting for the kids too!! Some love it some are scared. But kids are really adorable. I got to make some for some of them. NICE!

Lucky draw time!!! haha.a.... some auntie really know what to do for lucky draw. One lady actually bought 20 lucky draw coupons just to win. And she is really the big winner man. At least 5 items out of 20 were her prize. There was another lucky man who bought just 5 tickets and got 2 prizes! woohoo~ lucky! And his was among the top 10!!!

I really enjoyed myself during the show! I guess the stage is really where i want to belong. I'm looking forward for another chance to work with them. It's really fun!!!
